It's been quite a while since my last post and a loooooooot has been going on. But, I just had to take a few minutes out of my day to share this with you. Johnnie Walker's 'Keep Walking' campaign has become famous world over for a reason. Because it's brilliant. Apparently, this video was shot in just one take and with absolutely no edits. BBH London once again you never cease to amaze me. Great, great work. Thank you Jamie Rafn (director) for the beauty of it all and Robert Carlyle (actor) for the perfect delivery. And to the writers of this mind blowing monologue, my respect. You all are pure inspiration for budding advertising professionals such as myself.

  2. i really appreciate the suggestion. it was silly of me not to have said more about the video, especially since i haven't found a working link to attach to the post. thanks, will keep that in mind.

What i loved about this piece is the way it was shot - one long unedited stroll by the narrator down a pathway which encapsulated the history of JW, the unique use of various props along the way; like doorways without a wall attached (standing alone) which the narrator would walk through to emphasize a milestone in the story of JW etc. The background music of a piper was Scottish perfection and blended perfectly with the brand culture behind JW. And lastly, but not least the narration given by actor Robert Carlyle which was both proud, emotional and determined just as the brand he represents. Overall i loved it because it was well written, well-crafted, well-shot and completely utterly unforgettable.
